NexCore Hires Nathan Golik as Managing Director, Business Development

NexCore Group has hired Nathan Golik as Managing Director for Business Development.

Mr. Golik will head up NexCore’s Dallas, Texas office and will work closely with the firm’s development and finance teams in his new role. Formerly with Tampa-based Carter Validus, he began his new role Feb. 22. 

“Nathan’s breadth of experience in the healthcare real estate sector, covering everything from acquisition to finance to investment to underwriting, will be a great asset to our growing Business Development team,” says Todd Varney, NexCore’s Managing Principal “We are very pleased to have him on board to help us to deliver industry-leading healthcare real estate solutions to our clients across the nation.”

Mr. Golik has more than 17 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, with the past 12 years focused exclusively on healthcare. He has been responsible for the development and financing of acute care and inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and medical office buildings. In addition to his role at Carter Validus, Mr. Golik has led a variety of efforts in healthcare such as acquisitions, development, underwriting and investment at KDC and The Cirrus Group. To date he has completed projects in excess of $300 million.  He started his career at Archon Group a subsidiary of Goldman Sachs.

He received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance degree from Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business.

A native of the Springfield, Mo., area, Mr. Golik and his family reside in Dallas.
