NexCore Group Breaks Ground on 50,000 SF Outpatient Center in Avon, CO

NexCore Group announced today that it has broken ground on Buck Creek Medical Plaza, a three-story, 50,000 square foot outpatient center in Avon, the home of Beaver Creek ski resort and regarded by many as the commercial hub of the Vail Valley. New Outpatient Center for a New Healthcare Delivery Model
The Medical Plaza has been designed to accommodate a full range of outpatient services, including primary and specialty physician care, diagnostic imaging, and immediate care. The facility will house local and regional healthcare providers.

“Healthcare services in the Vail Valley have historically been provided in scattered locations, which primarily tend to be hospital-centric,” says Todd Varney, Executive Managing Director of Development at NexCore. “By providing affordable, convenient, high-quality care at an accessible location, the Buck Creek Medical Plaza will improve healthcare delivery in Eagle County. Patients will enjoy more convenient and coordinated care in a one-stop-shop facility.”

Strategic Project Site
Situated just off I-70 at the Avon exit (167), the project will be visible from all lanes of the interstate, The 2.17-acre site is bounded by Nottingham Road, Swift Gulch Road, and Buck Creek Road. Nottingham Road is a significant east-west travel corridor for the local community.

Besides its beautiful location, with dramatic views of Beaver Creek and Bachelor Gulch, the site provides strategic advantages as one of the few available sites large enough to develop a suitably-sized outpatient facility for providing the patient-focused and operationally efficient care that patients are demanding in the Vail Valley.
