NexCore Group, a national healthcare real estate (HRE) developer, today announced that healthcare development expert Jim Hartmann has joined the firm as its Senior Vice President, Development.
In his new role, Mr. Hartmann will work with the development team to execute and deliver on NexCore’s pipeline of outpatient medical office facilities for health systems and hospitals throughout the country.
Todd Varney, NexCore Managing Partner, says NexCore welcomes the appointment.

Mr. Hartmann has held key positions in commercial real estate during his career, focusing exclusively on healthcare development. Most recently, he drove identification, pursuit and execution of healthcare outpatient development opportunities as Vice President, Real Estate Development for Hammes Partners, an institutional private equity fund. Prior to joining Hammes Partners, he served as Vice President, Real Estate Development for Landmark Healthcare Facilities.
Mr. Hartmann earned Bachelor of Business Administration – Finance and Master of Business Administration degrees from University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. He also holds a Certification in Real Estate. Mr. Hartmann will be based in NexCore’s corporate headquarters in Denver.
