Greg Jackson

Headshot of Jackson Gray

From an early age, I was passionate about fixing things and learning how to build. I enjoyed being able to see my work pay off, and I was captivated by the idea of creating something tangible. Now, as the VP of Design and Construction at NexCore Group, I get to do what I love every day.

After graduating with a BS in Civil Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, I began working for a Commercial General Contractor. For the next 12 years, I worked on a variety of construction management projects, including heavy civil projects, tech firm renovations, mixed office labs, multi-family, government projects, and even Denver International Airport (DIA). The experiences I developed and the people I met enabled me to connect my passion for construction with my desire to build things that serve others. This passion has kept me in the industry since 2010.

Today, I work closely with a team of highly-skilled professionals across the healthcare, life sciences, and senior living industries. As a dedicated, detail-oriented leader, I get to see projects through from concept to completion, while overseeing every step of the process, including project estimation, constructability, construction, pre-construction, and project coordination.

When I’m not at work, I like to stay active. Whether it’s backpacking, snowboarding, trail running, races, evening workouts, volleyball leagues, camping, or paddle boarding, you can always find me looking for my next adventure. I got my AIARE 1 training, so I’m looking forward to exploring the backcountry more during the winter.
