NexCore Group’s Kyle Robbins Earns Class A Certified Inspector Certification from OSHPD

NexCore Group, a national healthcare real estate developer , announced today that Kyle Robbins, the firm’s Senior Vice President Design & Construction, has successfully completed his Class A Certified Inspector recertification with the California Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD).

The recertification authorizes Mr. Robbins to act as Hospital Inspector in all phases of construction including architectural, mechanical, electrical, fire and life safety, and structural elements.

This marks the fifth recertification for Mr. Robbins, who received his original certification in 2004. Candidates must take a full-day seminar reviewing the updated California Building Codes (CBCs) and then pass a 50-question exam.

NexCore Group President and Managing Partner Jarrod Daddis says Mr. Robbins’ continuous accomplishment is a great advantage for NexCore.

“Kyle’s experience and excellence as a construction professional is well-known to our industry, and having his impressive credentials distinguishes his commitment to the highest standards in healthcare real estate design and construction.”

In California, state law requires that all hospital construction work shall be continuously inspected by a certified hospital inspector approved by OSHPD and the architect and engineer in “responsible charge,” who oversees plans, specifications and observation of construction work. Healthcare systems outside of California also recognize the qualifications of OSHPD Class A inspector certification.

Mr. Robbins has more than 22 years of experience in the design, construction and development of real estate projects, with a primary focus on the healthcare industry. His broad scope of project experience includes healthcare, high-tech, critical facilities, laboratory, hangar and flood control projects. Mr. Robbins has provided exemplary senior leadership for his project teams, and his executive management has ensured projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
