Experience Senior Living Development (ESLD), a NexCore-owned company, announced today that it plans to break ground in Q4 of 2022 on a 200-unit seniors housing community within the RidgeGate mixed-use, master-planned community in Lone Tree.
The Reserve at Lone Tree will become part of the nearly fully developed, 3,500-acre, RidgeGate community, which straddles Interstate Highway 25 at RidgeGate Parkway, south of Denver.
Denver-based ESLD is a national real estate development company specializing in seniors housing communities.
ESL President Phill Barklow says The Reserve at Lone Tree will consist of a nine-story building featuring 124 independent living units and a five-story building featuring 60 assisted living and 24 memory care units.
“The Reserve at Lone Tree will be developed in ESLD’s innovative signature brand, The Reserve, which will break the mold of traditional seniors housing communities, allowing residents, families and team members to experience luxury living together,” Mr. Barklow says. “Our project vision ensures that instead of being forced to leave the lives they are accustomed to behind, our residents will continue that active lifestyle in a great community where they and their families will enjoy exciting environments to gather, eat, drink, live and play.”
NexCore’s President and Managing Partner, Jarrod Daddis, says not only does The Reserve at Lone Tree establish the first luxury seniors housing community at RidgeGate but sets the tone for future developments by ESLD.
“ESLD’s mission is devoted to developing communities providing a vibrant lifestyle experience and we are excited to bring this much-needed component to the senior residents of Lone Tree and the surrounding area,” Mr. Daddis says. “We know this inviting community will provide an atmosphere for those seeking to continue life’s adventures in a setting that invites them to stay connected, active and engaged.”
RidgeGate, the setting for The Reserve at Lone Tree, is a mixed-use, master-planned community that is nearly fully developed on the west side of I-25 and is now expanding to the east side of I-25, encompassing a total of 3,500 acres, or six square miles. Both the east and west sides of RidgeGate are designed to integrate natural and urban amenities, with residential neighborhoods tucked next to beautiful natural open space, parks and trails. The community is home to dynamic shopping, dining, and wellness where business districts are accessible and walkable including easy access to RTD’s RidgeGate Parkway light rail station. The community is also adjacent to the Lone Tree Regional Park.
Upon City approval, The Reserve at Lone Tree will feature a courtyard as the focal point of the community, designed to extend its indoor spaces outward, leading to a built-in amphitheater, art and sculptures, greenhouse, sport court, tree-lined streets and views of the Happy Canyon Creek open space to the east. Luxury amenities and services include multiple interactive dining venues; activities spaces; a maker’s space for creating; indoor saltwater pool with spa (steam room sauna, massage); fitness center; roof top bar and restaurant offering views of the Front Range to the west and open space to the east; a dog run; pickle ball court; salon, and coffee shop.
Independent living units will be up to 1,650 square feet on the top floor, with assisted living units ranging from 430 to 1,100 square feet. Both independent and assisted living units will offer spaces in a secured parking structure that is integrated into the main building. The development is expected to break ground Q4, 2022 with a grand opening anticipated in 2024.
